The Full Story

As the founder and CEO of this innovative company, Pierre is committed to finding a solution to any challenge that is presented to him. Pierre is a meticulous and compassionate Specialist Orthotist and Prosthetist based at ExP Medical and Dental Centre Constantia, Roodepoort. He has been working in private practice in Rustenburg, North West, since 2016 after completing his Internship at HG Prosthetics in 2015. On completion of his B.Tech(Hons) Medical Orthotics and Prosthetics, he won the Best Student Award for research and innovation in designing and developing a device for the management of phantom limb pain, sensations, and residual limb pain for amputees.

​Pierre was diagnosed with osteosarcoma (Cancer of the bone) in his leg at the young age of 11 years old. He received numerous sessions of Chemo Therapy, medical procedures, and operations. His leg was eventually amputated at age 21. This life experience gained him an in-depth understanding of the trauma and psyche of the disabled person and their needs. He is compassionate, caring, and committed to the well-being of his patients.
